Charles moved to mid coast Maine in 1996 to pursue a passion for boats and sailing, eventually buying and completely rebuilding, with his lovely wife Laurel, a steady old ocean cruising sailboat (The Alice), in which they lived on for two years and cruised the American East Coast. This was also the first home to their young son Dakota, who was born in Miami during this voyage. Prior Charles earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at The Pratt Institute in New York City and was also in the US Army as an Army Photographer. Before working in Real Estate he worked in the Marine Industry where he specialized in the detailed and artful profession of Marine Rigging.
Charles has been a Real Estate investor for many years, buying, fixing and selling homes and buildings. He also owns rental investment property in the Mid Coast area, is a member of the Membership Committee of the Southern Mid Coast Chamber of Commerce, a past president of Business Network International and a recipient of the CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist). CRS Realtors are amongst the most educated and productive professionals in the industry. This is one of the highest designations a Realtor can attain with only 4% of the nation’s Realtors achieving it. Charles also gives a portion of all his commissions to the Children’s Miracle Network.
Charles has two sons, is married happily to his sweetheart Laurel and resides in the quaint town of Bowdoinham.
